How to respond to radical visions from heaven

Daniel 8:27 I, Daniel, was worn out. I lay exhausted for several days. Then I got up and went about the king’s business. I was appalled by the vision; it was beyond understanding.

Daniel chapter 8 is a well-known chapter with endtime prophecy. This is some very important and earth-shattering information and revelation that Daniel receives. I love Daniel’s response. Instead of blurting out to the world what he has seen and heard, he finds himself exhausted, laying on the floor and unable to speak to anyone.

We need time for internal transformation before we can share with the world our revelation. And when a vision is beyond our understanding, we need to ‘let it sit’. It needs to get into us before it can get out of us.

We then need to consult with the Scriptures, the Holy Spirit and the wider body of Christ, before making public what is so holy and fragile.

End time prophecy. There are multiple views on the end times, proving how difficult a subject this is. I believe we sometimes need to spend more time talking to God about people, than we spend talking to people about God. We need to get a clear revelation before we possibly spread wrong information.

Questions about all this? Let me know and maybe I, or one of the other pastors at C3 Rivers, can point you in the right direction.
